Job summary

UVA Health seeks a Director of Corporate Communications to plan and oversee a wide range of corporate communications strategies for UVA Health including the UVA School of Medicine and Manning Institute of Biotechnology.

The role reports to the Senior Director of Enterprise Communication and will lead a team delivering internal and external communications across print, digital, video, and live events, engaging 18,000+ team members and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience, including 3+ years of formal managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization and execution of strategic communications for internal and external audiences.
• Develop and evaluate creative communications strategies to improve culture and image of the health system.
• Partner with senior leaders to ensure coordination across efforts.
• Direct and produce writing and content development to elevate the UVA Health brand.
