Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School seeks a Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for a growing portfolio of child and adolescent behavioral health initiatives across Texas.

This role requires leading a multidisciplinary team, managing an operating budget, and building partnerships with healthcare, education, and government sectors to improve access to high-quality behavioral health services for children and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Health Science, or a related discipline.
• Six or more years of high-level leadership experience, including direct supervision of staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for a portfolio of complex child and adolescent behavioral health programs.
• Establish program priorities aligned with mission, requirements, funding commitments, and statewide objectives.
• Lead development and expansion of statewide initiatives including TCHATT, CPAN, CPWE, and fellowship programs.
• Oversee portfolios ensuring adequate human, technical, financial, and operational capacity.

Education
