Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional certification in government relations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across multiple states during legislative sessions.

Responsibilities

• Direct lobby responsibility for state legislative activities on behalf of Vistra Corp.
• Oversee external consultants that assist in advocating issues and ensure accountability.
• Collaborate across divisions to shape strategy, input on policy positions, and resource priorities.
• Serve as liaison between Vistra and policy/trade associations and secure leadership roles.
• Manage lobby administration and compliance, including reporting and ethics under state and federal laws.
• Support the goals and activities of Vistra's Political Action Committees (PAC).
