Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking an exceptional Director, Sales to join our Sales team in San Jose, CA. In this role, you will work with brilliant inventors and engineers to develop products that make data faster and safer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business growth plans for key strategic accounts.
• Accountable for delivering Revenue, Gross Margin, and Design Win Revenue goals.
• Forecast long‑term demand and near‑term revenue.
• Assess current opportunities, resources, and capabilities needed to meet or exceed the sales plan.
• Develop and execute innovative sales approaches to drive revenue and profitability growth.
• Maintain and grow the existing customer base while pursuing new high‑value accounts.
• Work with Rambus Interface IP and Security BU marketing to develop account strategies based on market analysis and customer segmentation.
• Build processes to understand customer current and future requirements, detect market trends, and align Rambus product development, manufacturing capabilities, and investment strategy.
• Collaborate with Rambus Business Units to successfully introduce new products on critical launch calendars.
• Develop and build senior‑level relationships internally and externally to major accounts and targets.
