Job summary

LEAP in Broomfield, Colorado, is looking for an Operations Engineering Director. In this role, you'll create an engineering organization to oversee the build and launch of suborbital and orbital vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include establishing engineering standards, ensuring manufacturing and launch activities meet safety and quality standards, and leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams. The ideal candidate has over 12 years of aerospace experience and a strong background in liquid propulsion systems.

Qualifications

• Proven background in engineering and leadership.
• Experience in aerospace engineering with significant exposure to manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operations engineering execution from initial hardware build through flight.
• Establish scalable engineering standards across various engineering teams.
