Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA seeks a Systems Director for Performance & Control Analysis to lead performance analysis of the Vulcan program. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team, interface with government customers and contractors, and ensure timely, technically sound assessments.

Required are a BS in engineering and 12+ years in launch-vehicle related analysis, leadership experience, and DoD/Top Secret/SCI eligibility. On-site work at Los Angeles AFB is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and matrixed support.
• Strong budgeting and project-management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with systems engineering and requirements verification.

Responsibilities

• Lead department performing systems-level analyses for Vulcan mission design and performance.
• Manage day-to-day activities and provide direction to ETG.
• Build and mentor interdisciplinary teams and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Interface with USSF SSC, launch vehicle contractor, and NRO Office of Space Launch.
• Mentor Space Force officers and communicate status via reports and briefings.
• Provide real-time support for tests, training, and launches.
