Join us and be part of a world-class team that's redefining the future of travel and events. You'll find endless opportunities for growth, the chance to work with top-tier clients, and the thrill of making a real impact on the world.

About The Role

As our first in-house Sourcing Leader at BoomPop, your mission is to stand up version 2.0 of our sourcing team. You (and ultimately your team) will play the critical role of helping our clients land the perfect venue/location/hotel for their event. This means you’ll anticipate, support, and analyze the sourcing needs of our clients and event planners with exceptional customer service, unwavering adaptability to changing needs, and a strong focus on reducing time-to-source and sourcing accuracy. You will also play a crucial role in helping to inform product development decisions and contributing to the overall growth and success of the company. This role sits at a critical nexus point between sales and our event agency.

Outcomes

Within 30 days: you will have stood up the fundamental processes for all three product lines: 1) self-serve, 2) agency-lite, and 3) full event agency. You’ll have edited the SOPs, implemented process changes, and communicated it clear to the entire team. You’ll have also established what tools and help from the product you need to make the function successful.

Within 60 days: you’ll have posted JDs and be interviewing anyone remaining to fill out the rest of your team. You’ll have a great working relationship with the event team, and we’ll begin seeing measurable improvements in 1) time successfully source for clients, 2) decreasing the amount of time the event team is spending on sourcing vs. event execution, and 3) ensuring the expected event budget for clients is being met or exceeded to great client satisfaction.

Within 90 days: you are off to the races. You’ve hired the final members of your team to get this phase up and running, you have the tools and process you need, and we’re starting to move to the next way of improvements in expediting the time to source and client satisfaction around it. You’ll have also set a clear vendor onboarding strategy with our head of supplier relationships and be a constant feedback loop for improving our list of recommended vendors across the platform and company.
