## Director - SourcingApplylocations: Irving-Irving Corporate Office-3939 West John Carpenter Freewaytime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R00313510Support Center - IrvingThe Director – Global Sourcing will play a significant role in assisting the Senior Vice President - Global Sourcing to drive the process and lead the team to successfully execute the strategies and achieve the financial goals established by the Company.**Major Activities****Strategic Planning*** Drive Direct Import growth through effective product lifecycle management* Develop category Sourcing Plans and be responsible for execution of the Plans**Team Building*** Responsible for 2-4 direct reports and manage a network of service providers including Agent staff in Dallas and Asia.**Business Process*** Establish and deploy business processes for vendor engagement, capacity planning, production execution.* Develop product solutions in support of the Merchandising direction and ensure that the Company's goals of product innovation and quality are achieved* Identify, evaluate, and develop vendor relationships that support category needs.
