DIRECTOR - ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

LOCATION: REMOTE

SALARY: $150K - $180K

Team Size & Structure

• This person will initially manage ~11 resources:
• 6 at the Principal level
• Remaining are Senior-level
• The broader architecture team consists of ~25 people and is continuing to grow.
• As benchmarks are met, this Director will help build out the team further.

Role Responsibilities

• This is a hands-on role – the Director will lead their own solution architect projects.
• The team is newly restructured under the Chief Architect.
• Current architects are working individually; this leader will help “connect the dots.”

Will be expected to:

• Oversee the team
• Provide mentorship and direction

Leadership Needs

• Strong people management skills are essential – this is a sizable team needing guidance.
• They are struggling to find someone balanced:
• Many candidates are either strong people managers or deeply technical
• Open to candidates who have managed smaller teams, as long as they are hands-on and technically proficient.
• Working across a variety of Cloud and Data platforms
• Tools used include:
• Google Suite
• Microsoft Cloud
• TOGAF experience is a plus, but not required
• No specific tool requirements – focus is on technical depth + team leadership

Reporting & Communication

• Reports directly to the Chief Architect
• Must have strong communication skills – frequent exposure to executive leadership
• Needs to be comfortable presenting updates, ideas, and technical insights
• Conflict resolution and general leadership style will be closely evaluated
