Where you will work:
This role can be based remotely in NJ, PA, NY, IL, TX, or CA, with travel to the nearest office as needed.
A Day in the Life of the Director, Solutions Architecture:
- Lead and develop the vision and execution of Solutions Architecture strategy to drive complex solution activity and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product teams, and Sales to capture requirements and deliver solutions.
- Develop design standards and best practices across sales verticals.
- Lead Solutions Architects and Engineers in supporting long-term technical solutions.
- Support business development strategies and facilitate requests.
- Develop Vendor Architecture SMEs to connect products with vendor capabilities.
- Align with the Advanced Services team to ensure seamless customer onboarding and support.
- Establish reporting metrics for sales activity and outcomes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve product understanding and identify gaps.
- Demonstrate expertise in industry trends, especially in managed services and AI.
- Research new technologies and develop standards with industry partners.
- Review solutions for gaps in design and workflows.
- Set clear expectations and foster teamwork, training, and collaboration.
- Communicate effectively about product roadmaps and manage escalations.
- Support network operations and vendor training as needed.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Leadership experience with architects or senior engineers in complex managed solutions.
- 8+ years in telecommunications, network design, engineering, or project management.
- 8+ years in Sales Engineering, Network Engineering, or Architecture.
- 5+ years as an SD-WAN SME or engineer.
- 3+ years of Wi-Fi experience.
- Strong industry trend awareness and technical expertise.
- Knowledge of Cloud, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and networking technologies.
- Understanding of voice solutions and UCaaS.
- Vendor relationship management and training development skills.
- Financial modeling and cost analysis skills.
- Experience in team development and stakeholder influence.
- Ability to lead in time-sensitive, complex solution delivery.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Customer relationship and needs analysis skills.
- Understanding of MSO network architectures.
- Ability to translate technical needs for non-technical audiences.
- Strong business and analytical skills.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation:
Salary range: $155,000 - $175,000 annually, plus bonuses and benefits. Actual pay varies based on experience and skills.
