Job summary
Insight Global is seeking a Director of Software Technical Product Management to guide the Genomics Platform's strategy and drive adoption across cloud compute, storage, workflows, notebooks, APIs, and UX. You will lead a team of 4-6 Product Managers and partner with Engineering and cross-functional teams to build scalable platform capabilities used across multiple applications.

Qualifications
- Proven success driving user adoption for software products.
- 12+ years of progressive Product Management or relevant technical experience.
- Experience owning a B2B or B2C software platform used across multiple applications.
- Experience with cloud compute, storage/data services, databases, workflows/notebooks, or APIs.
- Strong technical understanding of software development, architecture, APIs, and engineering tradeoffs.
- Experience leading Product Managers or a small product team.
- Bachelor's degree in related technical field or equivalent experience.

We are seeking a Director of Software Technical Product Management to lead product strategy and drive adoption of a core software platform supporting scientific data management, cloud compute, workflow execution, and interactive analysis.
This leader will manage a team of 4-6 Product Managers and partner closely with Engineering and cross-functional teams. The focus is building scalable platform capabilities used across multiple applications and increasing customer usage of the platform.
- Own product strategy and the multi-quarter roadmap for core platform capabilities.
- Drive platform adoption by identifying customer needs and prioritizing product improvements.
- Lead products across cloud compute, data storage, databases, workflows/pipelines, notebooks, APIs, and platform UX.
- Partner with Engineering on architecture, scalability, performance, reliability, and technical debt.
- Define requirements across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.

- Software Engineering background prior to Product Management
- SDLC, design controls, or ISO 13485 experience
