Job summary

PRI seeks a Director of Engineering - Applications to lead technology strategy, software engineering oversight, release governance, and platform performance. You’ll manage full‑stack applications, microservices, and AI/NLP systems, guiding both insourced and outsourced teams and coordinating with product management, UX, and support.

This senior role requires 10+ years in software engineering, 7+ years leading managers, and strong delivery of scalable architectures.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
7+ years leading and developing high‑performing software teams.
3+ years designing and operating microservices architectures.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps.

Responsibilities

Develop, plan, monitor and execute the technology strategy for the team and providing overall technical direction to the technology and other cross-functional partners that ensure innovation in all we do.
Drive quality through automated testing, release governance and high platform performance.
Collaboration across multiple business units and functional departments to develop and deploy solutions that address key business initiatives.
Monitor and manage budget for software engineering teams.
Lead large teams of insourced and outsourced talent and interface with product management, solution architects, UX, support and other engineering teams.
