Job summary

Cenovus Energy is seeking a Director, Site Projects Execution, to lead safety-focused, capital-efficient delivery of the Downstream portfolio across US sites, including Dublin, Toledo, and Lima. You will oversee engineering, contracting, construction, project controls, and commissioning within Cenovus's stage-gated process, with a $300-$400 million annual budget.

You will drive life-cycle quality, integrate with HSE and Front-End Development, collaborate with site leaders and corporate teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant refinery/oil/petrochemical experience.
• Experience managing engineering and construction with compliance and improvement programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams across US/Canada to deliver a project portfolio at Cenovus Downstream.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning within the stage-gated process.
• Ensure safety, quality, reliability, schedule and cost performance on all projects.
• Own Capital Project Process and improve work processes for design, turnover, and close-out.
• Integrate project activities with HSE, Front-End Development, and other functions.
