Job summary

Graphcore seeks a technology leader to head the silicon characterization program, ensuring reliability before customers. You will define bring-up strategies, lead execution, and shape lab infrastructure while collaborating with architecture, silicon, hardware, and product teams.

This hands-on leadership role influences both product design and how Graphcore validates future AI systems, with a focus on data-driven decisions and cross-disciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering complex technical projects, independently or with teams.
• Deep expertise in silicon design, bring-up, characterization and process tech.
• Strong knowledge of high-performance processors and SoC architectures.
• Experience with measurement automation, data analysis, and scripting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team proving AI silicon reliability before customers.
• Define bring-up and characterization strategies and lab infrastructure.
• Collaborate across silicon, hardware, manufacturing, architecture and product teams.
• Influence product design and validation approaches for AI systems.
• Drive technical direction and unblock teams with data-driven decision making.
