Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a Power and Performance Validation Lead to drive validation strategy for AI compute silicon and systems. You will lead power, thermal and performance validation across pre- and post-silicon environments, ensuring efficiency, reliability and scalability.

You will build robust validation methodologies, scalable automation, and actionable performance insights while collaborating with architecture, RTL, firmware, software and systems teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in power and performance validation or silicon characterization.
• Strong knowledge of modern SoC architecture including CPU/memory/interconnect/IO.
• Proficiency in Linux and low-level performance analysis.
• Python for automation and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define validation strategies for power, thermal and performance characterization.
• Plan and execute validation activities across projects and milestones.
• Develop validation plans covering functional, stress and workload scenarios.
• Lead post-silicon bring-up and characterization for power/performance.
• Drive validation of CPU, memory, interconnect and high-speed I/O subsystems.
• Develop automation frameworks and reporting tools.
• Design and execute benchmark workloads and micro-benchmarks to identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with architecture, RTL, firmware, software and systems teams to resolve issues.
• Define validation metrics and pass/fail criteria for repeatable analysis.
• Share knowledge and improve validation processes across the team.
