Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group seeks a Director of Architecture and Design for SLVR to lead enterprise entertainment technology strategy across newbuild and revitalization programs from Miami. You will own governance, standards, and long‑term investment planning for sound, lighting, video, rigging, and networks.

You will align stakeholders across Brand, Product Development, Ops, and Marine, ensuring compliant, scalable, and guest‑experience driven solutions while managing budgets and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12–15 years of cruiseshipboard and/or themed entertainment experience.
• Five years in schedules, designs, specifications, and drawings implementation.
• Extensive shipyard, contractual and regulatory experience.
• Strong knowledge of IMO/SOLAS and classification society requirements.
• Executive communication and stakeholder management across senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term strategic direction for SLVR across newbuild and revitalization.
• Coordinate SLVR initiatives with Brand, Newbuild, Product Development, and Ops.
• Own enterprise-level oversight of the SLVR portfolio across ship classes.
• Lead shipyard contracts and alignments for SLVR and lighting specs.
• Guide sourcing models and vendor evaluations with Legal, Finance, Procurement.
• Build and mature SLVR organization with clear accountability across teams.
• Represent the group at industry events and partner engagements.
