Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group in Miami seeks a senior electrical project manager to lead revitalizations and major ship projects. You will manage technical and budget aspects, coordinating with hotel, marine, design and procurement teams to deliver high‑quality ship systems on schedule.

The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering for ships, and leadership of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safety and regulatory compliance across complexes and dry-dock activities.

Qualifications

• Background in Electrical, Electronic, and Power Engineering with 10+ years' experience in shipping or similar.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or international equivalent desirable.
• Experience as a passenger vessel Chief Electrical/Electronic Engineer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and drive ship electrical projects to be completed on time, within budget, and to safety/brand standards.
• Coordinate with ship operations and multidisciplinary teams (Hotel, Marine, Design, Finance, Procurement, HR, IT, Safety) to ensure alignment.
• Manage vendors and ensure outsourced work meets schedule, cost, safety and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with ship's chief engineers and electricians to ensure final plans meet operational needs.
• Develop cost-reduction programs and oversee project budgets with timely reporting.
