Job summary

Experience Senior Living Team seeks a Director of Environmental Services to supervise maintenance, housekeeping and related staff. The role focuses on maximizing revenue, controlling costs, and ensuring high resident satisfaction within the community.

You will manage service requests, oversee turnover and preventative maintenance, and contribute to annual budgets. A valid driver’s license, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office are required for success in this on-site role at our

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in multi-family property management or building maintenance.
• Strong math skills for estimates, percentages and totals.
• Solid performance management and staff coaching abilities.
• Good judgment to meet company goals for the community.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds and work at heights as needed.
• Familiar with carpet and upholstery cleaning.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manages maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, and janitorial staff.
• Implements programs to maximize revenue and curb expenses.
• Oversees community maintenance to support business goals.
• Handles service requests using the TELS system with proper delegation.
• Oversees apartment turnover and preventative maintenance.
• Assists in annual maintenance budget and expenditures.
• Procures parts and chemicals per national accounts.
• Inspects grounds and buildings to ensure full functionality.
• Ensures compliance with ESL policies and procedures.
• Negotiates with vendors and monitors contract terms.
• Ensures compliance with Fair Housing laws.
• May drive company vehicle if required.
• Performs other duties as needed.
