Job summary

BeOne Medicines seeks a Senior IP Counsel to lead biologics IP strategy, portfolio development, and global patent analyses. You will advise senior leadership on patents, exclusivities, and trademarks, and guide due diligence for business development in oncology therapeutics.

The role requires a JD with USPTO and bar admission, 7+ years in biopharma IP, and a PhD preferred to understand complex biologics programs. Remote work with some travel supports collaboration across研发 and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from a U.S. accredited law school.
• Admission to USPTO and at least one state bar.
• Minimum 7 years of IP experience in biopharma; PhD preferred.

Senior IP Counsel specializing in biologics, supporting BeOne Medicines' R&D, manufacturing, and commercialization of cancer therapeutics.

Responsibilities

• develop and maintain a robust intellectual property portfolio
• advise senior leadership on patent, exclusivity, and trademark issues
• conduct patent searches, landscape analyses, and freedom-to-operate assessments
• support corporate and business development activities including due diligence and contract review
• provide litigation support on validity and infringement matters

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school
• admission to USPTO and at least one state bar
• minimum 7 years of IP experience in biopharma
• advanced degree in biological sciences (Ph.D. preferred)
• strong understanding of global biopharmaceutical patent law
• experience in biologics, ADCs, or cell and gene therapies
