Role: We seek a seasoned FP&A leader to support strategic and operational decision-making, reporting to our Program Management group. The candidate should have extensive clinical-stage FP&A experience, preferably within biotech or pharma, and be excited to shape financial strategies at an innovative, international biotech company based in Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead Financial Planning: Manage the full cycle of financial planning, including budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans, collaborating with program leaders and executives.
2. Clinical Focus: Oversee financial analysis of clinical development costs, timelines, and resources across multiple programs.
3. Data-Driven Decision Support: Develop financial models for real-time decision-making, scenario analysis, and risk assessment.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a strategic partner across departments, ensuring financial transparency and communication.
5. Reporting & Insights: Provide leadership with timely financial reports, variance analyses, and business insights.
6. Continuous Improvement: Enhance tools, processes, and systems for better forecasting and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of FP&A experience, especially supporting clinical-stage biotech/pharma.
• Deep understanding of clinical development operations and budgeting.
• Expertise in financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint; FP&A software experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Adaptability and eagerness to contribute in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with immuno-oncology programs and related financial modeling.
• Knowledge of funding streams and non-dilutive funding.
• Experience with ERP and FP&A systems like NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, etc.
• Experience supporting IPOs or fundraising activities.
