Job summary

SiTime Corp. in Santa Clara, CA, seeks a Director of Security Engineering & Vulnerability Management to own and advance security across corporate, infrastructure, and lab environments.

You will lead endpoint and network protection, data security, and privileged access while guiding a blended team of employees and contractors to reduce risk. The role combines strategic direction with hands-on execution, focusing on tool selection, deployment, and ongoing operation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in information security, including experience leading security engineering programs and teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience building and operating risk-based vulnerability management programs.
• Experience deploying and managing enterprise security tools and controls.
• Working knowledge of endpoint security, secure configuration, network segmentation, and identity and access controls.
• Ability to translate technical risk into clear priorities and executive reporting.
• Strong partnership skills with IT, engineering, and business teams.
• Experience with security integration during acquisitions.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and SOX IT controls.
• People leadership or technical lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Own SiTime’s security engineering end-to-end, including endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning, email security, and related controls.
• Operate and mature the security stack, ensure steady-state operation and measure control effectiveness.
• Drive coverage to defined standards with evidence.
• Define security configuration standards and drive adoption across IT and Engineering.
• Protect lab and engineering environments with segmentation and compensating controls.
• Build integrations between security tooling, ITSM, identity, and SIEM.
• Lead security integration of acquired environments and remediations.
• Lead and develop a team of security engineers and contractors; hire as needed.
• Partner with IT, engineering, and lab operations; report metrics to CISO.
• Manage security vendors and service providers, including budget decisions.
