Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Director of Security Architecture to lead the security architecture strategy, standards, and governance across the organization. You will embed security into the development lifecycle and guide technology investments to ensure scalable, resilient solutions.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee architecture reviews, risk-based decisions, and collaboration with enterprise architecture, BISOs, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or information security.
• Experience leading architecture reviews and defining security standards.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Advanced degree or professional certifications are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise security architecture strategy aligned with cybersecurity, risk management, and business objectives.
• Establish governance for secure design, technology selection, and solution deployment.
• Provide proactive security guidance to development and design teams.
• Drive tooling optimization and architecture best practices across the organization.
• Mentor and develop the security architecture team and roadmap.
