Job summary

FTI Consulting, Inc. is seeking Directors to lead workstreams in the Securities, Commodities and Derivatives practice. You will perform quantitative analysis, craft written reports, and present findings to senior stakeholders.

The role requires research, data work, and clear communications in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, develop client-ready deliverables, and contribute to strategic guidance across capital markets and risk

Qualifications

• MS/MSc, PhD in a quantitative discipline (finance, mathematics, physics, engineering, etc.) or MBA (if preceded by undergraduate degree in a STEM field)
• 4+ years of post-graduate professional experience in economic consulting, trading firms, or other financial institutions
• Strong working knowledge and experience with Excel; Proficiency in MS Office

Responsibilities

• Developing practical and effective solutions to address client issues, with a focus in the financial, commodity, and energy markets
• Summarizing the results of work for presentations and reports
• Supporting the senior team with writing articles and preparing presentations
• Coordinating team logistics, including marketing, billing, recruiting, and other logistics performing research
