Job summary

The Director, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting at Informa TechTarget will lead the company’s external reporting, ensure GAAP compliance, and manage SEC filings and SOX controls from our Newton, MA office. You’ll partner with the Corporate Controller and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate quarterly and annual disclosures.

Ideal candidates hold a CPA with 9+ years in Big 4 assurance/audit and a deep understanding of US GAAP, with strong analytical and communication skills to

Qualifications

• CPA is required with an accounting degree.
• 9+ years in assurance/audit at a Big 4 firm.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Experience managing SEC filings and external reporting processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEC reporting processes, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings.
• Provide GAAP guidance and draft technical accounting memos.
• Manage complex agreements and conduct accounting research.
• Coordinate with auditors and cross-functional teams for timely reporting.
• Ensure SOX compliance and regulatory adherence.
