Job summary

AM General is seeking a senior Supply Chain leader to support systems affecting supply chain processes and manage supplier onboarding. The role emphasizes developing metrics, process improvement, and risk management within a dynamic production environment.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's, ideally a Master's in business, 10+ years overall with 5–10 years in supervision, and strong communication and organizational skills. Remote work may be considered in appropriate settings.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support systems that affect Supply Chain processes
• Manage the supplier onboarding processes
• Develop and maintain all Supply Chain metrics
• Develop and manage Supply Chain process improvement projects
• Develop and maintain process for supplier risk management

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• A bachelor’s degree in business or technical field of study is required for this position
• A master’s degree in business is preferred along with 10+ years of general and 5-10 years of supervisory experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience working with procurements subject to federal procurement regulations.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Products

PHYSICAL EFFORT

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Physical Location: Remote work will be considered for this position. The position operates in an office environment
• Teamwork: This position will work with others to ensure efficiency in the workplace
• Listening Skills: This position will need to understand how to use machinery properly and safely to prevent accidents and ensure all tasks are completed accurately

• Concentration: This position may perform the same or similar tasks repeatedly, so a strong level of concentration when carrying out these tasks is important for quality control purposes. This role is often fast paced, so being able to maintain focus at all times is important
