Standish Management, LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a Director to lead client engagements and oversee fund accounting, capital account maintenance, and financial statement preparation. You will supervise a team including Senior Manager, Manager, Fund Controller, and Associates, acting as the main client contact and collaborating with senior leadership on strategic growth.

The role emphasizes managing the end-to-end financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to SBA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics preferred.
• 15+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent.
• US GAAP knowledge for investment companies.
• Leadership experience in PE/VC/private credit or fund administration.
• Strong knowledge of partnership accounting, capital activity, waterfalls, allocations and carried interest.

Responsabilités

• Manage client relationships including onboarding new clients, review of fund documents and renewals of client engagements.
• Oversee quarterly and annual financial statement process and LP reports, including journal entries, capital allocations and management fees.
• Analyze data for capital calls, distributions and allocations to investors.
• Review accounting records, financial statements and support schedules, including waterfall calculations.
• Oversee audit and tax preparation with clients and external firms.
• Mentor and develop the fund accounting team to support growth objectives.
