Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Director, SAP IS-U - Power & Utilities in the Advisory practice to lead back-office SAP IS-U implementations and oversee integration with SAP CRM/EAM. This role requires deep utility domain experience and architectural leadership to drive large-scale transformations.

You will mentor teams, guide C-level clients through complex changes, and manage multi-faceted project workstreams within a global firm. Strong communication and senior stakeholder skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ten years of deep domain experience within the Utilities sector (Power, Gas, or Water).
• Hands-on architectural experience with SAP IS-U, focusing on Billing, Rates, Invoicing, FI-CA, and Device Management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and integration with SAP CRM/C4C, SAP EAM, and SAP FI/CO.
• Proven track record in driving internal transformation initiatives and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing large consulting teams, complex project workstreams, and executive stakeholder relationships.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee SAP IS-U back office implementations aligned with utility industry best practices.
• Act as subject matter expert and architectural lead for SAP IS-U components like Billing, Invoicing, FI-CA, and Device Management.
• Drive integration between IS-U and SAP CRM for front-office and SAP EAM for asset management.
• Lead project workstreams, allocate resources, and manage budgets for large S/4HANA migration programs.
• Advise C-level utility clients on transformations, process improvements, and technology adoption.
• Mentor and manage teams of architects, consultants, and developers to deliver SAP solutions.
