Job summary

The Planet Group is actively seeking a Director of SAP and Salesforce in Alpharetta, GA. You will lead the strategy, delivery, and support of SAP and Salesforce solutions to ensure reliable, scalable systems that drive business value.

Role is 70% strategy and 30% hands-on delivery, with three direct reports and vendor management. Relocation is considered; onsite expectations begin with 5 days a week for the first 90 days, then hybrid.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with 7+ years leading SAP and/or Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and operational support.
• Proven success delivering large-scale SAP and Salesforce programs, enterprise initiatives, system integrations, and cross-functional technology projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP, Salesforce, cloud-based solutions, enterprise architecture, business processes, and integration frameworks.
• Proven experience driving change management, user adoption, Agile delivery, process optimization, and risk management initiatives.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and vendor management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Capable of managing multiple concurrent workstreams while aligning technology initiatives to business goals and delivering measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, delivery, and support of SAP and Salesforce solutions to ensure reliable, scalable systems that drive business value.
• Direct three reports (SAP Manager, Salesforce Manager, SAP Solution Architect) and manage vendors.
• Balance 70% strategic planning with 30% tactical delivery; translate business goals into technology roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and implement changes that improve adoption and ROI.

Must have Skills
