Job summary

Moody's is seeking a transformation leader to oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives that reshape how the organization plans, executes, and scales commercial performance. You will serve as the neutral delivery engine for leadership priorities, driving end-to-end projects from concept to delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record delivering complex programs on time and on budget.
  • Experience leading transformation in a B2B SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects end-to-end from concept to delivery, defining scope, milestones, deliverables, and KPIs.
  • Own the transformation roadmap by prioritizing initiatives with dependencies.
  • Provide portfolio governance including risk, budget, and benefits tracking.
  • Drive cross-functional delivery across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Business Systems, and Finance.
  • Lead change management and adoption efforts with impact assessments and communications.
  • Optimize processes with automation-enabled solutions and bottleneck removal.
  • Report to executives with status updates and ROI-focused dashboards.

Skills And Competencies
  • 10–12 years of professional experience, including proven project and program management leading transformation in a go-to-market or business-to-business software-as-a-service environment
  • Proven delivery of complex, cross-functional programs on time and on budget
  • Strong change management fluency and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Hands‑on customer relationship management expertise, including deep, demonstrated experience administering and optimizing Salesforce; marketing automation and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred
  • Deep expertise in artificial intelligence, with a track record of implementing advanced AI solutions to drive strategic transformation and operational efficiency. Strong experience using AI tools to lead innovation initiatives. Demonstrated leadership in managing AI‑related risks, ensuring ethical governance, and fostering a culture of responsible AI adoption across the organization
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to drive alignment across senior stakeholders
  • Training and enablement experience preferred
  • PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma certification preferred
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred

  • Lead change management and adoption efforts, including impact assessments, stakeholder communications, and readiness planning
  • Optimize processes by eliminating bottlenecks and implementing scalable, automation‑enabled solutions
  • Report to executives with timely status updates, early risk escalation, and return‑on‑investment‑focused dashboards
About The Team

Our Commercial and Sales Excellence team is responsible for transforming how Moody's plans, executes, and scales its commercial performance. We translate corporate strategy into structured, multi‑stream transformation roadmaps and govern scope, timelines, and outcomes across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. By joining our team, you will be part of high‑impact work that drives measurable commercial results, advances our go‑to‑market capabilities, and leverages the latest AI‑powered tools and automation to continuously improve how we operate and deliver value across the organization.

For US‑based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $163,300.00 - $236,800.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full‑time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
