Job summary

Moody's Investors Service is seeking a senior transformation lead to manage portfolios that optimize commercial performance across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. You will define scope, milestones, and success metrics, while guiding cross-functional delivery and governance.

With 10–12 years in GTM or B2B SaaS, you will drive AI-enabled initiatives, manage risks, and influence senior stakeholders. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and an equitable base salary in the US

Qualifications

  • 10–12 years of professional experience leading transformations in a B2B SaaS setting.
  • Proven delivery of complex, cross-functional programs on time and on budget.
  • Strong change management and stakeholder engagement with influence without authority.
  • Hands-on CRM and BI experience (Salesforce, Tableau/Power BI).
  • Deep expertise in AI with governance and risk management experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership for senior stakeholders.
  • Training/enablement experience; PMP/Agile/Six Sigma preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, PM, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Skills and Competencies
  • 10–12 years of professional experience, including proven project and program management leading transformation in a go-to-market or business-to-business software-as-a-service environment
  • Proven delivery of complex, cross-functional programs on time and on budget
  • Strong change management fluency and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Hands-on customer relationship management expertise, including deep, demonstrated experience administering and optimizing Salesforce; marketing automation and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred
  • Deep expertise in artificial intelligence, with a track record of implementing advanced AI solutions to drive strategic transformation and operational efficiency. Strong experience using AI tools to lead innovation initiatives. Demonstrated leadership in managing AI-related risks, ensuring ethical governance, and fostering a culture of responsible AI adoption across the organization
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to drive alignment across senior stakeholders
  • Training and enablement experience preferred
  • PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma certification preferred
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
Responsibilities

Leads the portfolio of strategic initiatives that transform how the organization plans, executes, and scales commercial performance, serving as the neutral delivery engine for leadership priorities.

  • Lead projects end-to-end — from concept to delivery — defining scope, milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators
  • Own the transformation roadmap by converting strategy into prioritized, sequenced initiatives with managed dependencies
  • Provide portfolio governance, including prioritization models, risk management, budget oversight, and benefits realization tracking
  • Drive cross-functional delivery across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Business Systems, and Finance
  • Lead change management and adoption efforts, including impact assessments, stakeholder communications, and readiness planning
  • Optimize processes by eliminating bottlenecks and implementing scalable, automation-enabled solutions
  • Report to executives with timely status updates, early risk escalation, and return-on-investment-focused dashboards
About the Team

Our Commercial and Sales Excellence team is responsible for transforming how Moody's plans, executes, and scales its commercial performance. We translate corporate strategy into structured, multi-stream transformation roadmaps and govern scope, timelines, and outcomes across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. By joining our team, you will be part of high-impact work that drives measurable commercial results, advances our go-to-market capabilities, and leverages the latest AI-powered tools and automation to continuously improve how we operate and deliver value across the organization.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is$163,300.00-$236,800.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
