Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Horsham, PA, is seeking a Director of Safety Data Science to lead advanced analytics, AI/ML, and data science initiatives within Global Medical Safety. You will shape Safety Analytics strategy, build scalable solutions, and influence senior stakeholders across the organization.

You will mentor analytics professionals, promote responsible AI, and partner with IT and Digital teams to deliver high-impact production systems that enhance patient safety and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, CS, Mathematics or related quantitative field.
• Significant experience leading analytics, ML, AI, data science in healthcare or life sciences.
• Experience with medical safety, pharmacovigilance, real-world evidence, healthcare analytics.
• Ability to lead projects, teams, and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, deploy, and optimize ML/AI solutions for safety and business objectives.
• Lead analytics strategy and drive adoption of analytical capabilities.
• Partner with IT and Digital teams on scalable analytics projects.
• Communicate insights to leadership and influence strategic decisions.
