Job summary

Summa Health System is seeking a Director, Risk Management/Insurance to lead the comprehensive risk program. The role ensures accurate loss runs to Finance, actuaries and consultants and oversees the Middlebury Assurance Company, Summa’s wholly owned entity.

Qualifications

• Five or more years managing professional and general liability claims.
• Five+ years of direct responsibility for a Risk Management Program.
• Three to five years of progressive supervisory/team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive proactive Risk Management Program for Summa Health System.
• Ensure accurate loss runs to Finance, actuaries and outside consultants.
• Administers Middlebury Assurance Company, a wholly owned entity of Summa.
