Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Managing Director II, Risk Engineering to lead the evolution and execution of its risk consulting model. You will translate risk priorities into practical methods, tools, dashboards, coaching routines and scalable solutions that strengthen customer outcomes, underwriting value and profitable growth.

You will partner across Risk Engineering, Underwriting, Innovation, Digital, Data & Insights, Product Development, Marketing and Operations to embed high-quality risk

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Risk Engineering, insurance, risk management or related field.
• Ability to translate business direction into practical tools and standards.
• Proven track record coaching and influencing leaders in matrixed environments.
• Strong business acumen connecting customer needs with risk mitigation and execution.
• Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills.

• Shape the future Risk Services consulting model across channels.
• Lead evolution of consulting methods and service delivery.
