Job summary

Fifth Third Bank, N.A. is seeking a Director of Risk Advisory to lead the Risk Advisory capability within Strategic Client Advisory Solutions.

You will guide insurance and risk-management integration into wealth strategies, supervise the team, and advise on complex client situations across regions. In this role, you will collaborate with Wealth Advisors, Wealth Strategists and fiduciaries to address life, disability, long-term care, liquidity and wealth-transfer needs while ensuring governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Appropriate state insurance licenses for Life, Health and Long-Term Care as required by licensing guidelines.
• 10+ years of insurance, wealth planning or related financial-services experience with high-net-worth clients.
• Experience leading or coaching professionals and managing complex client engagements in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Risk Advisory consultants while maintaining an active portfolio of complex client engagements.
• Translate SCAS strategy into a Risk Advisory operating model, priorities, standards and performance expectations.
• Own core risk-assessment questions, decision pathways and documentation standards in new wealth strategies.
