Transamerica is seeking a seasoned Retirement Operations Leader to oversee service delivery for new business onboarding and client transitions. You will manage multifunctional teams and offshore vendors to ensure excellence in delivery.

This role partners with senior leadership to drive strategic priorities, risk management, and continuous improvement. Hybrid work arrangement is available in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
• Ten years of retirement plan experience.
• Management experience in business operations.
• Experience supervising employees.
• Experience with external clients in sales/support.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee retirement operations strategies for onboarding and client transitions.
• Manage day-to-day operations to ensure timely service delivery.
• Govern offshore and third-party providers to meet performance and quality standards.
• Lead Large Market and Mid Market conversion activities and outcomes.
• Ensure quality, reporting, training, and operational results across new business ops.
• Oversee budgets and resources for optimal allocation.
• Mentor and develop high-performing operations teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve performance and manage risk.
