Job summary

Orgill is seeking a Director of IT Retail Store Technology to lead a strategic vision across Orgill’s owned stores and dealer services. You will drive technology roadmaps, oversee store applications, and integrate data flows to enable a 360° customer view.

The role requires deep retail tech knowledge, strong leadership, and collaboration with PMO and vendor partners to deliver high-impact initiatives across CNRG and dealer networks.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years technology roles supporting retail hardware, apps and ops.
• Experience in home hardware/LBM or wholesale distribution retailing.
• Proven senior leadership in distribution/retail subsidiaries (e.g., CNRG).
• Strong knowledge of POS, inventory management software, and ecommerce platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with PMO to balance budgets and timelines across business units.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a store technology roadmap for CNRG and related services.
• Oversee Applications Support for CNRG stores and coordinate with Infrastructure for store tech
• Drive omnichannel data flows to POS, eCommerce, Loyalty, Marketing and Master Data for a 360° customer view.
• Act as consultant/evangelist to independent dealers to drive adoption of Orgill’s Tech Services.
• Lead innovations using Orgill Innovation Center and CNRG as a proving ground for new tech.
• Negotiate and manage vendor relationships to align hardware/software with retailer needs.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of retail technology specialists and project leads.
