Job summary

South College seeks a full-time Director of Clinical Education to oversee the Respiratory Therapy program's clinical experiences. The DCE will organize rotations, ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance, and maintain student records across sites.

The role includes coordinating evaluations, driving remediation plans, and aligning the clinical component with NBRC standards and the program's objectives. Strong teaching and leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Earned at least a baccalaureate degree from a USDE-accredited institution.
• Hold a valid RRT credential and current state license.
• Minimum 4 years as an RRT with 2+ years in clinical care.
• Minimum 2 years teaching in a CoARC-accredited program or as a clinical instructor.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical rotations design and evaluation for students.
• Organize locations for evolving practice skills and clinical experiences.
• Maintain student records and ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance.
• Coordinate evaluations and provide timely feedback to students.
• Collaborate with Program Director and faculty on curriculum alignment.
