Job summary

BMH Oktibbeha County Hospital is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapy leader to maximize departmental contribution to hospital performance. You will manage planning, budgeting, and compliance, providing 24/7 supervision to ensure quality outcomes and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities include service planning, staffing, training, and financial oversight, while maintaining alignment with the hospital's vision and values. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years experience in Respiratory Care including supervisory experience.
• Seven years experience in Respiratory Care with three years of management/supervisory experience.
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care from AMA approved program.

Responsibilities

• Planning, implementation and marketing of services that meet the needs identified internal and external customers.
• Operational management of the department including but not limited to hiring, training, supervising, counseling, evaluating, all employees and maintaining regulatory requirements.
• Financial management of the department including but not limited to capital and operational budgeting, variance analysis and management of resources within financial and productivity standards.
• Leadership through communicating the BMH vision/values, coaching, monitoring, counseling, and setting of departmental policies and goals.
• Communication/Interaction with identified internal and external customers.
• Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.

Job Summary

Provides innovative leadership to maximize the contributions of the Respiratory Therapy Department to the overall hospital performance through effective planning, including human and financial resource management, to result in quality outcomes in line with the goals of the institution. Responsible for assuring hospital compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting organization standards. Incumbent is accountable for departmental management twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week.
