Job summary

Point32Health seeks a Director of Research Computing, Data & Technology to lead the Institute's technology strategy, directing research computing, data enablement, and related teams. You will collaborate with Institute leadership and external partners to align tech investments with scientific priorities.

The role requires 8–10 years in research technology leadership, strong governance experience, and exceptional stakeholder management to advance ethical, compliant, and innovative research

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of progressively responsible leadership experience in research technology, research administration, or related areas.
• Five to seven years in management or supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of research workflows, sponsored research, and technology-enabled collaboration.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and maintain a multi-year roadmap for research computing, data management, analytics, AI, and digital research enablement.
• Lead and develop the research technology team by optimizing structure, setting goals, coaching staff, and managing performance.
• Serve as a trusted adviser to researchers and Institute leadership, aligning technology initiatives with priorities.
• Translate research requirements into scalable, secure technology solutions and act as liaison between researchers and enterprise IT.
• Drive digital transformation through automation, cloud services, analytics, AI, and emerging technologies to boost research productivity.
• Oversee Institute computing and data storage environments, including cloud platforms, servers, and shared drives.
• Govern data governance, onboarding/offboarding, SOPs, retention, and secure destruction.
