Responsibilities:

As a Director of Rehabilitation, you will lead a team of compassionate clinicians who help patients recover. You will oversee all rehab services in your facility, support your team by providing direct patient care, and ensure the highest standards of rehabilitation services.

You are a teacher, healer, and helper, passionate about making a difference. You value collaboration and are also capable of making referrals to ensure patients receive the care they need to thrive. You will mentor and grow your clinical team while addressing patients' needs, supporting, and guiding programs that restore and enhance their abilities. Your adaptability and understanding of team and patient needs are essential, and you find joy in diverse work settings.

Being a Director of Rehab means supporting, mentoring, and always prioritizing your patients' well-being.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
  • Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and problem-solve effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all state practice acts.
  • Ability to interact positively with personnel, patients, families, visitors, government agencies, and the public.
  • Effective management and motivation skills for staff.
