You will oversee global chemical regulatory strategies, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations across multiple jurisdictions. You will also lead regulatory submissions, interface with government agencies, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliance and drive business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements regulatory strategies, policies and procedures to ensure global compliance with TSCA, REACH, and other applicable chemical regulations.
  • Monitors, interprets, and communicates changes in relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Advises management on regulatory risks, impact and recommends mitigation strategies.
  • Ensures company-wide adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Prepares, submits, and manages regulatory filings, reports, and approvals with relevant authorities.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in regulatory affairs, compliance, or a related role within the chemical industry
  • 5+ years of experience in a regulatory leadership/management role
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Regulatory affairs certifications such as IRCA or equivalent credentials
  • In-depth knowledge of TSCA, REACH, and other global chemical regulations
  • Proven experience in regulatory submissions, risk assessment, and compliance management
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading global, cross functional teams and projects
  • Knowledge of regulatory software tools and compliance management systems
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Occasional domestic/international travel
