Director, Regulatory Compliance & Regulatory Affairs

As our Director, Regulatory Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, managing regulatory submissions, and providing expertise to internal teams and external client leaders. You will be accountable for identifying, establishing, maintaining, and reviewing compliance risk controls and compliance strategy throughout the organization. Every day you routinely interact with senior executives, managers, clients and regulatory agencies in response to regulatory changes or specific requests. You will provide oversight and leadership for internal processes and programs for compliance.

Here’s what you will experience working as a Director, Regulatory Compliance & Regulatory Affairs :

  • Provide strategic and operational regulatory leadership in the development and administration of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) strategy and service excellence.
  • Play a leadership role crafting and developing comments and responses to new or proposed regulatory rules that impact the organization’s strategy and RCM to improve outcomes.
  • Serve as the regulatory lead on projects or significant organizational initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, internal and external stakeholders, and other control groups on compliance and RCM-related issues.
  • Perform extensive research and analysis on new or existing laws, rules, and regulations, and provide guidance and support to Operational and external client leaders.
  • Prepare compliance reporting for senior management and the board of directors.
  • Participate in and lead complex compliance investigations.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as business, law, or compliance. Equivalent industry experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
  • At least five years of progressive healthcare law, regulatory/government affairs and/or compliance experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience with physician reimbursement and compliance, including Medicare-specific reimbursement requirements.
  • Prior experience building relationships and credibility quickly with key stakeholders, such as physicians and senior leaders. You must have the ability to spot issues and ask appropriate follow-up questions, giving you the ability to build trust quickly and recommend solutions.
  • Prior experience and comfort level presenting to internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives to the Operators.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $112,151.00 - $167,640.70 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 20.00%
