NV Energy in Nevada seeks a Senior Regulatory Accounting Manager to lead the company’s regulatory and revenue accounting activities, coordinating internal and state regulatory filing obligations related to revenue accounting, deferred energy accounting, and FERC rate case filings. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, engineering, economics, business or related field and 10 years of regulatory experience including general rate case, deferred energy and FERC experience and at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• If no bachelor’s degree, minimum of 14 years regulatory experience including general rate case, deferred energy and FERC experience and at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Responsabilités

• Directs the preparation and review of monthly accounting, quarterly regulatory rate filings, monthly reporting obligations, monthly projections, and annual case filings for deferred energy and other public policy programs.
• Directs revenue accounting, internal and external reporting and analyses, quarterly filings, and annual filings, serving as expert witness.
• Supports Nevada state general rate case filings with analyses for revenue requirements calculations and oversight of revenue requirement schedules.
• Directs development and implementation of new public policy programs and FERC filings; develops objectives and strategies for wholesale and transmission.
