Job summary

NV Energy in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a seasoned Project Controls leader to direct master schedules, cost control, and financial reporting for large-scale design, development and construction programs. The role includes mentoring junior staff and driving best practices to support strategic decisions.

The candidate will oversee ERP system management, schedule risk, and accurate reporting, with regular stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school with 5 years of related work experience.
• If no bachelor’s degree, minimum of 9 years of related work experience.
• 5 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages Master Schedules and integrates them into a master schedule.
• Oversees schedule risk management strategies to mitigate delays.
• Develops and maintains detailed project reports, including performance measurement and cash flows.
• Establishes robust financial controls to ensure cost allocations and adherence to budgets.
• Manages ERP system data, initiation, maintenance, and closeout procedures.
• Coordinates regular meetings with project managers and stakeholders to review progress.
• Supports regulatory activities with audits and variance analysis.
• Mentors and trains junior project controls staff.
