Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a regional supply chain leader to drive commercial demand planning for its product portfolio. You will collaborate across Commercial, Finance, Global Trade Ops, and Supply Planning to ensure robust forecast accuracy and availability.

You will own the regional S&OP process, manage supply risks, and partner with Regulatory, Quality, and Finance to ensure compliant, cost-effective distribution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years supply chain experience; at least 5 years in commercial supply chain (biopharma/life sciences).
• Strong demand planning, S&OP leadership, and commercial supply issue resolution.
• Experience with small molecule and biologic commercial products highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional commercial demand planning with cross-functional partners.
• Ensure data-driven forecasts accounting for trends, launches, promotions.
• Monitor consumption and adjust forecasts to sustain supply.
• Own regional S&OP process and align demand and supply.
• Present outlooks to executives and contribute to global cycle.
• Be regional contact for commercial supply escalations.
• Coordinate with global leads to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Communicate supply risk and mitigation timelines to Commercial.
• Serve as supply liaison for Commercial, CS, and Regional Leadership.
• Partner with Regulatory, Quality, and Finance on compliant distribution.
• Support launches and market expansions from readiness perspective.
• Track KPIs and lead continuous improvement.
• Represent region in system/process upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the regional commercial demand planning process for all products; collaborate with Global Trade Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Supply Planning.
• Ensure forecasts are accurate and data-driven, accounting for market trends, promotions, launches, and product life-cycle management.
• Monitor consumption trends/variances and adjust forecasts to support uninterrupted supply.
• Own/facilitate the regional Commercial S&OP process; align on demand, supply constraints, and mitigation plans.
• Present demand/supply outlooks to executive stakeholders and provide regional input into the global S&OP cycle.
• Act as regional point of contact for commercial supply escalations (backorders, allocation decisions, stock imbalances).
• Coordinate with global commercial supply chain product leads to identify root causes and resolve issues.
• Communicate supply risk, mitigation plans, and recovery timelines to Commercial teams.
• Serve as supply chain liaison for Commercial, Customer Service, and Regional Leadership.
• Partner with Regulatory, Quality, and Finance to ensure compliant, cost-effective distribution.
• Support commercial launches and market expansions from a supply planning/readiness standpoint.
• Track KPIs (forecast accuracy, OTIF, backorder levels, inventory health) and lead continuous improvement.
• Represent region in system/process upgrades (e.g., demand planning tools, ERP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Life Sciences, or related; 12 years supply chain experience or 10+ years with master’s. MBA/advanced degree preferred.
• APICS/CSCP or similar certification asset.
• 10+ years supply chain experience; at least 5 years in commercial supply chain (biopharma/life sciences).
• Strong demand planning, S&OP leadership, and commercial supply issue resolution.
• Experience with small molecule and biologic commercial products highly desirable.
• Regional/matrix leadership experience strongly preferred.

Skills/Competencies

• Strong analytical/planning skills; forecast accuracy and supply continuity focus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; present to senior leadership.
• Deep understanding of commercial supply chain in regulated environments.
• Proficient in planning systems (SAP IBP, Oracle, Kinaxis, OMP) and advanced Excel.
• Agile, solution-oriented, able to work under pressure.

Travel Requirement

• Up to 25% regional travel; occasional global travel.
