Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 10 years of experience in customer account management, external affairs, or regulatory relations, preferably in utilities.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong understanding of municipal government processes, public policy and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct state customer account operations and oversee dispute resolution.
• Serve as liaison between customers, regional leadership, and corporate teams.
• Represent the company at customer forums, industry events and regional meetings.
• Manage billing, power quality, rate issues, rebills and revenue protection processes.
• Develop strategies to improve customer service and retention for commercial, industrial and governmental clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes via technology, automation and best practices.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance on regulatory issues and reporting.
• Lead crisis communication efforts for service disruptions or regulatory events.
