Job summary

Baker Tilly is looking for a Director to join our Real Estate Advisory Group and lead engagements for public and private sector clients, providing valuation, due diligence, and advisory services.

The role emphasizes client interface, staff coaching, and cross-functional collaboration while driving new business and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate finance, economics, business, accounting or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in asset/portfolio management, real estate finance or real estate development.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and outside business professionals
• Self-starter who exhibits the drive and resourcefulness to work independently and with team members toward common Company goals - show confidence in functional skills and an ability to apply those skills in a multi-task cross-functional team setting
• Ability to work in an evolving, team oriented environment, and accept new challenges often operating independently
• State certified general appraiser in at least one state
• MAI designation of the Appraisal Institute preferred
• Strong financial analysis and review skills with the ability to recognize financial issues through review of financial statements and draft work product

Responsibilities

• The Director will be responsible for business development and lead engagements primarily related to work with public and private sector clients providing real estate advisory services including property valuation and consulting, appraisals, due diligence, real estate consulting, portfolio and property valuation, highest & best use analysis, and acquisition counseling.
• Ability to effectively interface with client and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality work, expand existing relationships and generate new business.
• The Director will serve as oversight for managers to ensure deadlines are met and to develop and train staff.
• In addition, the Director will serve as a coach to staff to further their professional development.

The pay rate range for this job position is $299,930 – 393,676. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees/certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
