Job summary

Arizona Water Company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced regulatory and rates leader to drive regulatory strategy and key filings. You will guide rate recovery efforts and support business goals under the Vice President – Rates & Revenues supervision.

You will coordinate ACC filings, develop ratemaking models, and oversee tariff management, sales reporting, and regulatory compliance tracking. Strong finance, economics, and statistics background required for complex analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience with a public utility in a rate, regulatory, or accounting related position.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation, submission, and management of regulatory applications and rate cases with the ACC.
• Develop ratemaking models for regulatory proceedings.
• Prepare rate surcharge, adjustor, and similar filings for ACC.
• Identify improvements to ratemaking processes, modeling, and planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with ACC decisions and directives.
• Lead tariff management, revenue reporting, and regulatory compliance tracking.
• Prepare financial information for budgeting and strategic planning.
• Conduct economic analyses for projects and acquisitions.
