Job summary

California Water Service is seeking a Regulatory Program Manager to support the ratemaking process. The role involves building the business case for water prices, reviewing expenses and budgets, and communicating complex financial information to regulators and internal teams.

Position can be located in San Jose or Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting/finance, strong MS Office skills, and prior regulatory analysis experience within the water sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2+ years as regulatory or financial analyst, preferably in water/utility.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid California Driver license.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Rate Case (GRC) process with data gathering across departments.
• Develop and present financial models and revenue requirements for regulated districts.
• Draft testimonies explaining past spending trends and future projections.
• Prepare and edit GRC data requests and responses.
