About the Job
The Director, Rare Hematology Clinical Educators (CE) is a key field-based leadership position within the US Rare Blood Disorders and Oncology Patient Services team. This is a second line leadership role, responsible for leading a team of field-based Clinical Educators who support commercial objectives for Sanofi’s Rare Hematology portfolio. The CE Director is expected to possess a high level of clinical and customer knowledge, have experience with both field and headquarter protocols and procedures, and possess drive and spirit to engage and influence. The director will be responsible for hiring, developing, inspiring, motivating and supporting the West Rare Hematology CE team.
The CE team is responsible for calling on both HCP’s and patients and collaborates with all internal Sanofi stakeholders. This role works closely with field and home office-based Sanofi colleagues in Marketing, Medical, Sales, TLL andAdvocacy.
The West Clinical Educator Director will report to the Lead, Patient Support Services for the Rare Blood Disorders and Oncology division.

Main Responsibilities:
West Director, Clinical Educator Team will:
Help define the culture, structure, and future direction of Sanofi’s Clinical Educator Team
Build and lead a high-performing team, capable of effective relationship building and cross-functionalcoordination/collaboration.
Create a compliant environment which challenges, motivates and develops team members to reach optimum performance and potential.
Set clear objectives, coach/mentor, and assess performance and skill level to develop future leaders within Rare Blood Disorders and Oncology.
Provide strategic customer insights to the team to develop and grow Sanofi’s rare hematology and oncology portfolio.
Develop appropriate budget allocations and ensure that their team takes a disciplined approach to investment.
Partner with commercial leadership and other internal stakeholders to develop a strategic approach to the rare hematology and oncology business
Align CE Strategic plan with KPIs and objectives of the brand plan and maintain high level of communication, collaboration with commercial team.
Act as a sponsor and ally for inclusion and diversity in all elements of our business
Comply with all forms of legal and statutory regulation within domain of responsibility, including compliance with applicable SOPs, industry codes of practice and best practices and actively support and promote a compliance culture and safe environment throughout the organization
About You
Basic Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of overall experience in thepharmaceutical/biotechindustry
3+years leadership and people management/leadership experience in pharma or biotech, rare disease/oncology
Documented success in pharmaceutical / biotech leadership with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results
Collaborative style, responsive, considerate, flexible, assertive, and personable
Ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams toward a shared vision of success
Demonstrated strategic planning and execution skills
Ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups, targeting presentation to the needs of the audience
Focus on compliance regarding interaction with HCPs and patients to ensure adherence to all operational rules, procedures, guidelines, appropriate reporting of engagements with HCPs, and requiring the same of their Team
Demonstrated leadership skills to manage key priorities and to lead a team of experienced clinical Educators
Strong project management experience, including superior analytical and planning skills
40-50% travel required
Position is Field Based - Driving is an essential duty of the job; candidates must have a valid driver’s license to be considered and will receive a company car

The salary range for this position is:
$147,000.00 - $212,333.33All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
